As December kicks in, the Miss World 2016 pageant is sinking in to the mood and has officially started. The contestants have started arriving and are spending quality time with each other and are getting to know each other better. By looking at the constant updates on the social media pages of the delegates and the pageant, it looks like that the bonding is going great. The delegates are surely having a gala time enjoying their stay in the US, and to their surprise, the MWO decided to give the contestants a tour of the beautiful city of Washington DC.

Taking a break from their rehearsals, constant training and filming, it was time for the contestants to step into the rich history and tradition of the US Capitol. The US Capitol Building is the centre of American Politics as it houses the US Congress, and it was originally built in 1800. US Capitol is also the location of the Presidential Inaugurations.

The girls look excited as they enjoyed a private tour of the Capitol wherein they also asked questions about the historic site. Of course, the girls completely utilised the opportunity and clicked pictures adding content to their Miss World Facebook Pages.

The finale of Miss World 2016 is slated to be held on 18th December 2016, and the winner will be crowned by the reigning Miss World Mireia Lalaguna at the conclusion of the coronation night. Who do you think will win the coveted title this year?
