Group 4 contestants of Miss World 2017 completed their round of Head to Head challenge which took place in front of the spectacular aquatic backdrop of the Chimelong Aquarium, the largest viewing tank in the world, consisting of six whale sharks and hundreds of various species of fish.

Australia, France and Jamaica definitely stood out in this Group. There introductory videos and question and answer round were bang on. In the last round of Q&A, they were asked, “Many marine mammals are facing the threat of extinction, and how would you begin a campaign to save them?”

Esma Voloder from Australia seems like the most natural winner with her simplicity, pretty face and intelligent quick-witted answers. Her video talked about her life in Australia and her varied interests like playing the piano and doing charity works.

For the final question, Esma’s answer was one of the best, where she said –

“Education is really important, but making sure the heart is in the right place is what I think would inspire people to take care of the wildlife in the ocean. So, recently we watched the talent section of Miss World and each contestant had to represent their talent and it got quite emotional. So, I think a campaign that facilitates the notion of ‘beauty with a purpose’ where people tell a story about animals and reform that connection between humans and animals will make people more conscious about the decisions they make and I feel that by doing that we can inspire greater change and every individual can play role in saving wildlife.”

Aurore Kichenin from France seems to be the most enthusiastic and talented contestant in this Group with her avid knowledge and interests. Her video easily shows her life at a glance while the ending is the best, where she surprises us by trying bungee jumping. That will bring a smile on your face.

Her answer was quite impressive where she said –

“First I would raise awareness, especially with children because they are the adults of tomorrow and I would go to their school to teach them the great behaviour to adopt. We have a big work to do in the ocean too and by cleaning the ocean and by reducing the massive shipping, it is essential to improve this situation and we could install more sea-beans in the ocean. Finally, nowadays social media is very important and I would use it to inform the population.”

The next beauty to stand out in this group is Solange Sinclair from Jamaica. Solange’s energy and smile is a winner. Her video is full of beautiful visuals, while she talks about her heritage and culture in the most fun manner.

Her answer to the final question was delivered with full confidence and compassion. She said –

“You know the beauty of living in today’s world is the power of social media because you are able to reach thousands of people within the short period of time and with limited resources. So, the first thing I would do is start a social media campaign to reach out to like-minded individuals and different interest groups to raise awareness on this on a community-based level through social media and on a national level I would develop a robust advertising campaign and engaging grassroots initiative in an effort to be able to raise awareness on waste and waste management because unfortunately, human waste into the ocean is definitely one of the number one causes to loss of marine life that includes coral reef as well. So definitely raising awareness on a national level about waste management is something I would implement.”

Armenia is participating for the first time in this year's Miss World competition with Lily Sargsyan.  Miss World Egypt 2017 Farah Shaaban was looking very beautiful and she was donning a bright smile all through the competition. Dalila Jabri from Germany expressed her thoughts really well through her introductory video.
