Mothers have always played an important part in the growth of a child and we can never be thankful enough to measure up to the headwork and dedication they put in to raise us into the human beings that we are. It is the same for Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar who took to her social media and recently wrote a very heartfelt letter to her mother, thanking her for the contribution that she had made to help her grow into the beauty queen that she is today!

Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017 last year and became the 6th ever Miss World from India. She has been a spectacular influence ever since, and a very good role model to women all over the world. Her reign has been perfect and soon she is going to crown her successor on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China during the grand finale of Miss World 2018.

Manushi recently posted a very beautiful picture with her mother on her official Instagram account with a long letter starting with a quote, “I am who I am because you are who you are.” Manushi then addressed her followers and wrote, “Ever since I was a child, a toddler trying to walk in her mother’s shoes or play with her makeup, she let me believe that I could b whoever I wanted to be. She has been my strength, my source of confidence, my well of unconditional love, my candle in the darkness and my cousin when I fall.

Manushi then went to appreciate her mother’s concoction to help her during the initial stages of her pageant life and wrote, “She (her mother) held my hand and guided me when. First entered pageants, sat through every call of mine, pushed me when I was low, motivated me when I was scared, taught me the true meaning of being a beauty queen, kept me grounded when I was to walk with a crown on my head and continues to do so even today!”

Manushi then evaded the letter, thanking her mother and said, “You are the fairy godmother to the Cinderella in me and just like you told me how with the wave of a wand she solved everything, you have done the same and much more. Thank you, Ma.” In this note, we are all thankful to Manushi’s mother who raised this gem of a person that helped the world know that she is really a queen!
