Miss World 2017 is in full swing with challenges, events and activities happening every day. The girls are busy with Charity dinner, rehearsals for finale night, touring Chinese mountainside and villages, carving museum and what not!

A charity auction dinner party took place on 26th October, where every contestant looked stunning in their evening gowns and they auctioned off their gifts for a great cause, raising money for women welfare.

After that girls shifted their base to the next destination, Hangzhou city which is also known as one of the wealthiest places in China. There they were seen visiting Wensli Silk Museum, a well-known silk product brand and Huizhou Carving Museum, one of the most important schools of traditional Han Chinese architecture. The beauties tried their hands on carving techniques while having fun.

The grand opening ceremony of Miss World 2017 took place at the historical sight of Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) in Anhui Province, Eastern China. The opening ceremony marked the official welcome of all the 120 queens in Miss World 2017. Yellow Mountain is open to only world leaders and similar VIPs, so it was a great privilege for the girls to be invited there. It started with the speech by the mayor, after which Miss World’s CEO Julia Morley opened this year’s competition. Contestants from United States, China PR, Australia, Dominican Republic, India, France, Kenya, and Mexico spoke on behalf of all the contestants.

Visit to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom was definitely a joyful event where queens got wet in water rides and enjoyed the scenic beauty of avid marine life. They participated in Chimelong Ocean Parade donning colourful outfits and parading with their fellow continent representatives. The atmosphere took a colourful carnival feel amongst the onlookers. While that all the queens rocked the night of IBC Fashion Week welcome party and each one of them looked mesmerizing.

The next destination is Sanya in China where the last leg of competition starts for the ultimate finale night which is slated for 14th November 2017. We’ll keep you updated with all the fun happenings till then.
