With the finale of Miss World 2018 just around the corner, the delegates are working hard everyday to do their best on the night of the coronation. Amidst all the hustle and bustle, the Miss World Organization is also conducting events that would help the delegates spend some free time, enjoying and socialising with each other.
Yesterday, all the delegates competing for the Miss World crown this year, along with reigning Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, visited Mission Hills, Haikou. Haikou is known to be the fashion capital of China and there could not have been an event more fitting in such a perfect location.
Mission Hills is a golf resort that was deemed as the world's largest golf facility by the Guinness World Records in the year 2004. Miss World Organization took to their social media to announce the generous invitation as well as to describe the beautiful place and wrote, “Welcomes Miss World 2018 contestants and reigning Miss World Manushi Chhillar with a fabulous, colourful cultural dance. Mission Hills is an extravagant golf resort with 10 courses, a water park, mineral springs and a spa, plus 12 restaurants, bars & cafes and a 5 minute drive from Guanlan Lake.”
The delegates were welcomed with a traditional and cultural dance. They looked glamorous and poised during the entire event. Mission Hills also set up a stage where all the delegates were called upon in pairs and introduced to the audience that was present there.
Reigning Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar also graced the event with her presence. Describing her outfit, Miss World wrote the following on their official Facebook page, “Reining Miss World Manushi Chhillar looks amazing in a colourful, bright, structured blazer, short black body-con dress and clear transparent heals, making a bold statement of self-esteem and body confidence at the Mission Hills Resort, Haikou.”
