Miss World 2018 has officially begun as all the official delegates have arrived in Sanya, China for their first press conference. The press conference was held at the Mangrove Tree Hotel Resort as the gorgeous beauties attended the event looking ever so gorgeous.
Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle welcomed the delegates at the conference. A select group of contestants were chosen to state their Beauty with a Purpose cause on stage.
The delegates also took to their official social media to post about the press conference after which the Talent Round auditions were held. Miss World India 2018 Anukreethy Vas wrote in a post, “So we just got done with our first press conference and it went really well! Also, now we have our talent round auditions, so wish us luck. Sending love to all of you.”
Miss World Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada wrote, “Just back from the press conference. We have a crazy schedule today. At the Mobstar activation right now and then we have talent competition in the afternoon. I can hardly find time for pictures, thanks to my sisters who are great at squeezing time in between.”

The finale of Miss World 2018 will take place on 8th December 2018 where 120 contestants will compete for the national crown. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
