Miss World 2018 to host its first Fast Track Top Model Competition tonight

Miss World 2018 is all set to commence with its first qualifier for the final stage as the Top Model Competition will be held tonight at 6:30 PM (GMT+8). 118 delegates competing for the coveted title will showcase their catwalk abilities and choice of design in their gorgeous outfits at the fast track event.

One of the most anticipated fast track events, the Top Model Fast Track has been a barometer of past editions as to who will eventually win the crown. Many Top Model winners eventually went to winning Miss World crown. Thus, the competition holds quite a lot of importance for the delegates.

Miss World Organization took to their social media to announce the commencement of the first event in a post, “Who Will Win Top Model 2018? Join us later today as 118 Contestants showcase their catwalk abilities and choice of design as they compete for the title of Miss World Top Model 2018. Many winners of this fast track event have gone onto win Miss World. The first qualifier for the final stage of Miss World 2018 will be decided tonight LIVE scheduled to commence at six thirty (local time) this evening.”

Last year, Miss World 2017 hosted its Top Model Competition where Miss World Nigeria 2017 Ugochi Ihezue went on to win the title amongst the Top 30 delegates who qualified as the finalists. Miss World Thailand 2017 Milkey Kulphakthanapat, Miss World Croatia 2017 Tea Mlinaric and Miss World China 2017 Guan Siyu were adjudged first, second and third runners-up respectively.

Miss World Nigeria 2017 Ugochi Ihezue went on to become the second quarter-finalist at the finale of Miss World 2017. Thus, the fast track competition holds quite a lot of importance in the competition. Who will win the competition this year?
