Miss World 2021 Top 40: Caroline Teixeira representing Brazil

Miss World 2021, the 70th edition of Miss World, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night. Caroline Teixeira representing Brazil has secured a spot in Top 40 by being one of the judges’ choice winners.

 

 

Caroline Teixeira is 23 years of age and stands 177 cm tall. A bilingual, Caroline speaks Portuguese and English fluently. After studying for a Law Degree, Caroline has continued her training by working in the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the aim of becoming a Public Prosecutor.

On being appointed in the Top 40, Caroline took to her official social media as she wrote, “The dream continues! We are in the top 40! My heart is filled with gratitude to God, my family, the CNB family, the organization of Miss World to everyone who supports me, believes and cheers for me. The final will be on March 16 in Puerto Rico. Let's go in search of the blue crown!”

Caroline is the daughter of civil servant parents Aline Gomes and Carlos Teixeira. An avid basketball fan, Caroline has excelled by winning several championships. She is also a marathon runner who has also fought thyroid cancer.

As Miss World Brazil 2021, Caroline has traveled throughout Brazil as a supporter and promoter of the causes, especially MORHAN (Movement for the Reintegration of People Affected by Hansen's Disease).

If Caroline wins Miss World 2021 crown, she will become the second Brazilian woman to win the coveted crown. Lúcia Petterle won the first Miss World crown in 1971. However, Brazil has a strong track record at Miss World holding top placements.
