The Miss Universe Albania organization hosted the 2022 edition of the national pageant on 9th and 10th June 2022, where stunning delegates from Albania and Kosovo competed for the crowns of Miss Universe Albania 2022 and Miss Universe Kosovo 2022.

Apart from the title crowns, Angela Tanuzi was crowned Miss World Albania 2022 at the end of the event. 19 year old Angela hails from Kruje and is expected to represent Albania at the 71st Miss World. Since their debut in 2011 Albania has being unable to place. With proper training and guidance Angela could possibly give Albania a much needed placement at Miss World.

Angela succeeds Miss World Albania 2021 Amela Agastra, who represented the country at Miss World 2021 where she placed among the Top 27 finalists at the end of the event. The country is yet to pioneer the semis of the Miss World pageant.

Angela will now prepare for her international stint with sincerity and dedication and will be representing the country at Miss World 2022, the 71st edition of Miss World, all set to be held later this year.
