Madeline Cowe Miss World Australia 2016 has conquered all, but with it the beauty has other dreams in mind to fulfill. After passing on her reign at the conclusion of the finale of Miss World Australia 2017, Madeline wants to pursue something that she loves. The Cairns-born beauty has recently completed her law degree and now wants to move to Sydney for a month to pursue opportunities in television and presenting.

“I’ve never really been able to give it a good go without having the pageant and my law degree and everything else on at the same time,” She said.

“It’ll be nice if I put all my effort into it for six months to see what happens — it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

The stunner enjoyed her reign and regards it as the best phase of her life. She will miss the crowning ceremony in Melbourne on Friday because of her commitments in South Africa. She was invited to join the Miss World Organization supporting the country’s ‘Stop Hunger Now Campaign’ run by global ambassador Nkosi Zelivelile Mandela, who is the grandson of the late Nelson Mandela.

Cowe said that she was keen to continue working with charities and recently spent time with the Women’s Legal Service. “I think in Australia, in particular, people relate pageants to negative things and by doing it and knowing what’s really involved, it’s so different,” she said.

What people see on stage is a tiny bit of what is really involved in being Miss World Australia,” she concluded.

She is definitely a true beauty queen and is taking forward the legacy in the best way possible!
