08 Jul 2021 | Angelique Reyes

The organization of Miss World Australia will host the coronation ceremony for Miss World Australia 2021 on 13th August at the Palazzo Versace in Main Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia where state finalists will compete for the crown and represent Australia at Miss World 2021. The winner will succeed Miss World Australia 2019, Sarah Marschke of Sydney, at the end of the event finale.

We’ve selected our favourites for the title who we think have the potential and dedication to represent Australia at Miss World 2021. Let’s look at the final favourites for Miss World Australia 2021:

Letitia Walker

Letitia Walker is studying at Wollongong University and is a cheerleader for the Canterbury Bulldogs. She is one of the favourites for the title as she showcased immense dedication and determination towards winning. She aspires to open her art business for kids with disabilities. She is grateful for the opportunities that have helped her to build confidence and strength to accomplish her goals and showcase her self-on-stage and perform her best.

Ruby Rose Schofield

Ruby Rose Schofield is one of the favourites for the Miss World Australia 2021 crown because of the dedication and passion she has for the platform that comes along with the title and her vision to use it to its best for women’s lifestyle. She is the founder of Rosa Health after she noticed the gap in the market for women’s health products and information. Ruby is a powerful, empowered, and confident woman who wants to not only acquire her space but also encourage other women to do the same and, thus, making it our favourites because she possesses all the qualities that a beauty queen does.

Susana Downes

Susana Downes started her journey in beauty pageants six years ago and feels blessed that she has had the opportunity to compete for the crown of Miss World Australia 2021. She is positive, humble, and very welcoming towards new people in her life as she believes that the people you meet along your beauty pageant journey will impact each other so much and it’s going to stay for life, as no one else goes through the same experience we do, so we bond over it. She states, "You get to learn so much from each other, and not always in the longest period!" She will use her voice for those people who struggle with self-acceptance and love.

Kristen Wright

Kristen Wright is a Biomedical Student and aspires to be a speech pathologist. She is a professional Scuba Diving Instructor and a model who wishes to win the Miss World Australia 2021 crown and represent Australia at Miss World 2021. Being a medical student, Kristen’s beauty with a purpose project is Educate Resuscitate, where her goal is to use her qualifications to be a resource for people of all communities, cultures, and ethnicities to provide life-saving information and the skills to help save a life. She wants to be a catalyst for change and raise awareness of the importance of first aid and CPR training. Kristen is such an impactful woman who wants to make the best use of the platform given to her for the people in society.

Windy Wulandari

Windy Wulandari is using her platform to champion diversity in Australia, celebrate her own unique Indonesian and Afghanistan heritage, and share her passion for food. She joined pageantry to break the stereotype that one must have to look a certain way to be in a beauty pageant or the industry. She is a keen advocate for anti-bullying and wants to use the platform given to her to share important messages about bullying and be an advocate for the cause as she has personally suffered from mental bullying. She is already one of the favourites for the crown.
