Ieashia Browne: Most promising delegate for Miss World Barbados 2019 crown

Miss World Barbados 2019 will be announced at the coronation night to be held on 31st August 2019 with eight delegates vying for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Barbados at Miss World 2019 pageant. Miss World Barbados 2018 Ashley Lashley will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The pageant this year witnessed the most beautiful and talented divas from all over the country competing for the national crown Amongst the batch of eight delegates, Ieashia Browne made it to the Top as well and is now competing for the national crown.

The 20-year-old beauty from a very young age was guided by her passion for music, singing, fashion and modelling. She is a quite known singer as she has performed at many events such as charity shows and the Independence Festival of Creative Arts. participated in the Honey Jam concert where she got the opportunity to sing on stage with songwriter and recording artist Shontelle Layne. She also performed in the Honey Jazz concert.

The beauty has competed in various contests such as Barbados Talented Teen Pageant 2014, where she won best talent segment. Also, she participated in St.Vincent's Miss Easterval Competition in the year 2015 and successfully won the title.

For the title of Beauty With a Purpose, she has a project entitled ‘Pulse’, which will focus on Cardiovascular Diseases in women and children as the number one cause of death in the world today is heart disease. Over the last decade, heart disease in young persons has increased by 30%. If she strikes to maintain the foothold in the pageant and win the crown, then she will be able to promote her advocacy in the country with pride.
