Alondra Mercado was crowned Miss World Bolivia 2020 at the end of the event finale of Miss Bolivia 2020 held on 14th November 2020 at the Red Uno Studios and will represent the country at Miss World 2020 stage. She has succeeded Miss World Bolivia 2019 Iciar Díaz for the title.
Alondra Mercado Campos is 19-years-old and stands 174 tall and had represented the province of Beni at the competition. She in the second semester of a Psychology career at the Autonomous University of Beni. She is passionate about being a beauty queen and is very excited to take over the crown duties as Miss World Bolivia 2020. She is the daughter of Beniano Cristian Mercado and Shirley Campos from Cochabamba.
After winning the crown, she took to her social media to show her gratitude towards everyone who helped her stay motivated throughout the competition. She wrote, “I really can't express what my heart feels right now, I want to thank God for not letting go of my hand at any time and helping me fulfil this dream, thank you Promociones Gloria for this opportunity, infinitely thanks to my family and to all the people who supported me and always encouraged me to continue giving my all and now I will give much more to leave my country very high in the Miss World 2020. Today begins a new goal for me and God accompanies me at all times.”
Along with Alondra Mercado being crowned as Miss World Bolivia 2020, Lenka Nemer D’rpic was crowned Miss Universe Bolivia 2020 and Carolina Fernandez was crowned Miss International Bolivia 2020 at the end of the event finale.
Alondra is not new to pageantry as she was Queen of the Trinitarian Carnival 2019 and has worked with some of the renowned designers and brands in Bolivia which has helped her to gain experience and some knowledge about beauty pageants which will help her during the competition. The diva has always motivated herself to do the best in her field in order to represent Bolivia at international stage.
The diva is positive, confident, and strongly feels that with hard work and dedication towards one’s own dream, anyone can achieve what they aspire to. Alondra wants to reach out to various people across the globe and help them to feel encouraged and empowered in whatever field they like. She has a beautiful smile and very strong headed opinions which adds up to her advantage. She has assured that she will perform her best at Miss World 2020 stage and make the people of Bolivia proud.
