Miss World British Virgin Islands 2018 Meet the Contestants

Miss World British Virgin Islands 2018 will hold its finale on 11th August 2018 at the Eileen Parsons Auditorium (HLSCC) at 7 PM (GMT-4). Three gorgeous beauties have been selected to compete for the national crown and represent British Virgin Islands at Miss World 2018.

Miss World British Virgin Islands 2017 Helina Hewlett will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Helina Hewlett performed really well at the Miss World pageant last year but unfortunately could not bring home the coveted crown.

So, without further ado, let us take a look at the three contestants vying for the Miss World British Virgin Islands 2018 title and their beauty with a purpose projects -

Contestant No 1 Yadali Thomas

Yadali’s beauty with a purpose project focuses on youth development as she believes an empowered youth secures a powerful future for her people. Her project also supports the sea turtle’s extinction by her the youth of her generation.

 

Contestant No 2 Anika Christopher

As the second official delegate, Anika’s project focuses on literacy and education. According to the beauty, Education is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world. As the ongoing issue of endangered sea turtles, Anika has even adopted one on them to raise awareness about the same and help people to understand that this species needs to be saved.

Contestant No 3 Aaliyah Inniss

Focusing on her project that assesses sexual assault victims and how to raise awareness regarding the same, Aaliyah is definitely a strong contender like her competitors. The staggering numbers are a wake- up call for a securer world as almost 80 percent of the sexual victims never even report the crime to the authorities. Aaliyah has also adopted a sea turtle like her contenders.
