Adelaide Botty van den Bruele has been appointed as Miss World Finland 2023 and has become Finland’s representative at Miss World 2023. The announcement was made by Bruele through her official social media a few hours ago.

Adelaide Botty van den Bruele is 27 years of age and an entrepreneur, model, and yoga teacher hailing from Sonkajärvi. She succeeds Miss World Finland 2022 Emilia Lepomäki. Adelaide competed last year in Miss Suomi (Miss Finland) held in Helsinki where she was adjudged second runner-up.

Taking to her official social media, Bruele wrote, “I can finally reveal this: one of my biggest dreams has been to represent Finland to the world in a competition whose main goal is how to achieve good and improve the world. I have a great honor to act as one of the trendsetters and to bring out the fact that even though we are a small nation, Finns are kind, honest and always ready to help each other. I am proud of my roots, even though they come from around the world in addition to Finland.”

“It is a great honor to be able to represent my home country in the Miss World pageant, whose slogan is Beauty With Purpose. For me, it means bringing out the inner beauty and leaving your mark on the world. For the world of tomorrow. A world that is better than it was today or yesterday. I can't put into words how happy and excited I am about this opportunity” she added.

Miss World 2023, the 71st edition of the Miss World, is scheduled to be held in India on 9th December 2023 where Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
