Miss Guatemala organization, through their official social media, appointed Marcela Miranda as the new Miss World Guatemala 2023 as she became the official representative of Guatemala at Miss World 2023. She is 20 years of age and stands 170 cm tall.

Marcela Miranda is an accountant by profession and currently pursuing her bachelors in commerce and international relations. A fluent speaker of English and Spanish, Marcela is a confident and well-spoken beauty queen. Miranda is a professional dancer in Latin, modern, and classical genres.

A rhythmic gymnastics coach, Marcela, with her Beauty with a Purpose project ‘Moving to Heal’, teaches the sport to girls who have been victims of abuse and provides a safe space for them to feel liberated and motivated to move on in their lives and do well for themselves.

On winning the national crown, Marcela took to her official social media as she wrote, “Good afternoon, my dear Guatemala, this day I am pleased to inform you that I have the honor of carrying the title of Miss World Guatemala 2023, which I receive with great joy and commitment to represent my beautiful country in the next edition of Miss World. Rest assured that I will give my all. From now on, I stop calling myself Marcela to call myself Guatemala before the eyes of the world. From now on, I will be very grateful for all the support you can give me.”

Miss World 2023, the 71st edition of the Miss World, will be held in India in March 2024 where Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
