Miss World Jamaica2015, a national pageant that selects representatives for the Miss World pageant, is scheduled to be held on August 15’ 2015 at the Montego Bay Convention Center. The reigning Miss World Jamaica, Laurie-Ann Chin will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner of Miss World Jamaica 2015 will represent Jamaica at the Miss World 2015 pageant. There are a total of 20 contestants participating at the pageant this year.

The twenty gorgeous finalists are - Robyn Lloyd, Jade Mcbean, Jovi Jaja, Kayla Blake, Shari Jo Robinson, Talia Soares, Krystal Tomlinson, Setrena Clarke, Cavel Campbell, Suchelis Rhodd, Richelle Parchment, Sanneta Myrie, Royanne Desilva, Renee Boland, Chanel Ricketts, Daina Haughton, Christina Rowe, Roshelle Mckinley and Crystal Mason.

The contestants of Miss World Jamaica 2015 are competing at various fast track events. And similar to the Miss World Fast Track events, the winners of the Fast Track event will advance into the top 15. The finals of Miss World Jamaica 2015 will be graced by Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss of South Africa & Miss World Organization Chairperson Julia Morley. Jamaica’s performance at Miss World so far has been consistently commendable. Jamaica has won three Miss World crowns so far. Carole Crawford won Miss World 1963, Miss World 1976 was Jamaica’s Cindy Breakspeare & Lisa Hanna was the last Jamaican to win the Miss World crown in 1993. The country is the Miss World Powerhouse of Caribbean region and has won several runner-up crowns and continental queen awards.
