Miss World Laos 2021 was held last night i.e. 31st March 2021 at the Landmark Riverside Mekong Hotel, where Phongsavanh Souphavady was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Laos in Miss World 2021. Souphavady succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Laos 2019 Nelamith Soumounthong.

From Savannakhét, Phongsavanh currently resides in Vientiane. The stunning beauty bested nineteen other beauties to win the national crown. She studied at NUS Business School, National University of Singapore. Souphavady also holds a Honours Degree of Bachelor of arts in accountancy and financial management at University of Portsmouth. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance at Bangor University.

1st Runner-up – Phonvilai Luanglath

2nd Runner-up – Aliya Inthavong

The 70th Miss World will be held on 16th December 2021, in San Juan, Puerto Rico where Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
