Larissa Ping crowned Miss World Malaysia 2018

Larissa Ping was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2018 during the conclusion of the event’s finale on 8th September 2018. She will now represent Malaysia at Miss World 208 to be held on 7th December 2018 in Sanya, China. She was received her crown from the jury members Nabila Huda and Carmen Soo.

Larissa beat 11 other contestants to win the title of Miss World Malaysia 2018. She won a prize of RM30,000 in cash, trophies and other gifts.  In the event, she also won the special awards of Top Talent and Miss Photogenic. As Promised, Larissa has also won the title of Sarawak Tourism Ambassador for 2019.

Larissa is 19 years of age and is from Sarawak. She is an expert in playing the musical instrument called Sapeh, a traditional lute, through which she won the talent round. Larissa firmly believes in the power of charity and suggests that the donation of something as small as 2nd hand story books will help the children in need to receive some education and knowledge.
