Saroop Roshi was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held on Friday, 25th August 2023 at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Since then, Roshi has been preparing to represent her country at Miss World 2024.

Saroop Roshi is 24 years of age hails from Perak. She is a psychologist, model, and travel enthusiast who bested 13 other competitors to win the crown. Not new to the pageant world, Roshi competed at Miss Universe Malaysia 2019 and with her stellar performance, she placed in Top 18.

After that, Roshi competed at Miss Grand Malaysia 2019 where she impressed th J e jury with her personality and communication skills and placed as the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. Her pageant exposure and her stunning beauty will definitely be advantageous for Roshi at the international platform.

A great influencer and mental health coach, Roshi helps and promotes suicide prevention programmes highlighting the need to talk about the issue of mental health. Roshi has also started an organization called ‘Unmask Yourself’ for her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project. The social initiative is once again committed to preventing suicide by promoting the preservation of life through encouragement, assistance, and instruction.

Saroop succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Malaysia 2022 Wenanita Angang. Wenanita Angang is currently preparing to represent Malaysia at Miss World 2023. Miss World 2024, the 72nd edition of the Miss World where the winner of Miss World 2023 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
