At the event finale of in Reinas de Belleza del Paraguay (Queens of Beauty of Paraguay), Maquenna Gaiarín Díaz was crowned as Miss Mundo Paraguay 2018, as known as Miss World Paraguay 2018. Maquenna has now been presented with the prestigious chance to represent her nation at Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.
At the conclusion of the event, the beautiful Miss Mundo Paraguay 2017 Paola Oberladstatter from Alto Paraná crowned her successor after a remarkably successful reign. With her dedication to the crown and its cause over the year, she has certainly left some big shoes to be filled.
Maquenna Gaiarín Díaz representing Itapua is 22 years of age and stands tall at a height of 174 cm. She used to study at Facultad de Ingenieria – FIUNI, an engineering college and before that in Universidad Nacional de Itapúa – UNI. She does a volunteering work in Rotaract Club Encarnación and Sociedad Protectora de Animales de Encarnación.
Paraguay has failed to take the Miss World crown since its commencement. Last year Miss Mundo Paraguay 2017 Paola Oberladstatterwas placed in the top 20 in the talent round, but was not placed in the top 40 during the finals.
