Prior to competing in Miss Thailand World 2018, Nicolene was also a candidate for Miss Universe Thailand 2018 pageant, the finale whereof was held on 30th June 2018. In the finale, she managed to reach the Top 10 spot, and her learnings and experience gained from that participation surely helped her as she managed to win the national title now.
