At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Turkey 2017 held on 22nd September 2017 at Grand Hotel de Pera in Istanbul, Turkey, Itir Esen was crowned Miss World Turkey 2017. She succeeds and was crowned by Buse Iskenderoglu, the Miss World Turkey 2016.
Itir, who is pursuing her graduation in English, is just 18 years of age and stands tall at an impressive height of 180 cm. She will now represent Turkey in Miss World 2017 pageant, finale whereof will be held in China on 18th November 2017.
At the same event, Asli Sümen was crowned Miss Universe Turkey 2017 and Pinar Tartan was crowned as Miss Supranational Turkey 2017.
Remaining Top 10 finalists were Beril Altuntas, Buse Çekmeceli, Ceren Baykan, Gözde Baddal, Özge TürkYilmaz, Suna Yildirim and Yasemin Çoklar.
Other contestants who competed in the finale were Alara Kaya, Andrea Raema Mungiu, Bahar Gençalp, Bahar Merve Zirhli, Betül Eksi, Deniz Görgülü, Ekinsu Kansu, Emire Cansu Kurtaran, Hazal Karasiki and Merve Argun.
