The 70th edition of Miss World pageant, i.e., Miss World 2021 is all set to be hosted on 16th December 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event.
While stunning delegates from all over the world have started arriving in Puerto Rico for the registrations and pre-pageant events, the Miss World Vietnam organization has recently revealed Miss World Vietnam 2020 Ðo Thi Hà’s national costume for this year’s annual pageant.
The ‘Dances of the World’ national costume is designed by Kiet Cao, Ngô Manh Ðông Ðông along with Thuy Design House and is inspired by the origin of Thanh Hoa - Do Ha's hometown, a land with a rich cultural tradition as well as a place where many historical imprints are kept. The costume ‘Nhieu Kieu General Quan - Ba Trieu’ exudes the powerful beauty of a heroine, and at the same time shows the graceful beauty of Vietnamese women.
Inspired by the Dong Ho folk painting of Ba Trieu, the costume consists of long silk, embroidered shirt and pants. Accompanied by some accent accessories such as crowns, flower brooches and earrings. All are made of soft materials to hug her soft body, suitable for Ha's flexible dance part. The elegant colors blend together to create an impressive overall.
Hà also revealed that she wanted to present the most memorable thing about the traditional values in her hometown and the first thing that popped up in her mind was Ba Trieu - an outstanding female general from Thanh that everyone knows. She will also try to show her dance in a soft way but without losing the strong and resilient element of the heroine.
Hailing from the city of Thanh Hoa, Ðo Thi Hà is 19-years-old and stands 175 cm tall. She is currently studying business law at National Economics University, Hanoi. In addition to studying, Ðo Thi Hà also likes to participate in volunteer movements and go to remote places with youthful enthusiasm. Perfecting herself every day, she is strong, determined, focused, and a very positive human who was able to impress everyone with her strong performance.
Ðo Thi Hà stands out with a face with soft and delicate lines and a shining smile, she is indeed a simple and pure beauty. She feels just like the way she performed at Miss Vietnam 2020, she will perform at Miss World 2021 stage too and make the people of Vietnam proud.
