Mohana Prabha, Indian-origin beauty, crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2019

Miss Universe Singapore 2019 finale, which was held tonight at Zouk, Singapore, concluded with the crowning of Mohana Prabha as the new Miss Universe Singapore. She succeeds and was crowned by her predecessor, Zahra Khanum, Miss Universe Singapore 2018 and will now represent Singapore in Miss Universe 2019 international beauty pageant. Pia Wurtzbach of Philippines, Miss Universe 2015, graced the finale of Miss Universe Singapore 2019 as special guest and judge.

Mohana Prabha, who is currently a student of Biomedical Science, was also a Top 5 finalist in Miss Universe Singapore 2018 contest. She has previously volunteered for food donation drives and charity events both locally and internationally over the years, and actively campaigns on her social media platforms about environmental issues.

At the same event, Annika Xue Sager was crowned Global Asian Model Singapore 2019. Both Prabha and Annika were part of our Top 3 favourites for the title of Miss Universe Singapore 2019. Laranya Kumar, another Indian-origin beauty, was adjudged the first runner-up at the finale.

Remaining candidates who competed in the finale were - Valencia Alanna Quah, Nerrine Ng, Mia Chow, Lynette Chua, Lia Alexandria Tan, Cheryl Yao and Bernadette Belle Ong.
