Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) hosted the finale of the 2022 edition of the national competition on Friday, 21st October 2022 at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos where the second runner-up Genevieve Ukatu was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria 2022. Ukatu will now represent Nigeria at Miss Supranational 2023.

Genevieve Ukatu is a model, actress and an influencer by profession. On winning the national title and the second runner-up position, Ukatu took to her official social media as she wrote, “My first ever pageant and I made it to top 5 and ended up as the 2nd runner up being Miss supranational. What more could I have asked for.”

Also at the finale, Ada Eme Miss Abia 2022 was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2022 (MBGN 2022). As the new MBGN 2022, Ada Eme has become the official representative of Nigeria at Miss World 2022.

Also, the first runner-up Montana Onose Felix was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2022. Montana will now represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2022. Along with these ladies, third runner-up Miss Abuja 2022 Ifeoma Uzogheli was crowned Miss Ecowas Nigeria2022 and fourth runner-up Miss Lagos 2022 Lydia Balogun was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria 2022.

A number of special awards were also presented at the finale of MBGN 2022 –

Miss Amity - Miss Zamfara, Oluwatoyin Ibitoye

Miss Charismatic - Miss Akwa Ibom, Sharon Edet

Best Traditional Costume - Miss Gombe, Stella Udeh

MBGN Model - Miss Kano, Mirabel Oghenekaro

Miss Photogenic - Miss Bauchi, De-Blessing Asaboro
