Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) hosted the finale of the 2022 edition of the national competition on Friday, 21st October 2022 at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos where the first runner-up Montana Onose Felix was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2022. Montana will now represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2022.
Montana Onose Felix is a published model and actress in Nigeria. Boasting of nearly hundred thousand followers on her social media, Montana is surely a strong representative of Nigeria at Miss Universe 2022.
On winning the national crown, Montana took to her official social media as she wrote, “I came to Nigeria with so much hope and passion to showcase my country to the world then I applied for the prestigious Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria. I Came...I Saw.... I Conquered. Allow me to reintroduce myself as your MBGN Miss Universe Nigeria 2022.”
“I’ll like to give a special shoutout to God before anybody else because without him this journey would’ve ended a long time ago, also my supportive parents and entire family back in Texas as well. Thank you to the entire silverbird team @silverbirdtv for believing in me and bestowing this amazing tittle on me”, she added.
Also at the finale, Ada Eme Miss Abia 2022 was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2022 (MBGN 2022). As the new MBGN 2022, Ada Eme has become the official representative of Nigeria at Miss World 2022.
Also, the second runner-up Miss Anambra 2022 Genevieve Ukatu was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria 2022. Along with these ladies, third runner-up Miss Abuja 2022 Ifeoma Uzogheli was crowned Miss Ecowas Nigeria2022 and fourth runner-up Miss Lagos 2022 Lydia Balogun was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria 2022.
Top 15 included Miss Kano - Mirabel Oghenekaro (Public Vote), Miss Lagos - Lydia Balogun (Public Vote), Miss Abuja - Ifeoma Uzogheli, Miss Abia - Ada Eme, Miss Edo - Montana Onose Felix, Miss Anambra - Genevieve Ukatu, Miss Zamfara - Oluwatoyin Ibitoye, Miss Kebbi - Lucille Love Oputa Otutu, Miss Osun - Olufunke Eyiowuawi, Miss Adamawa - Enenma Ibekwe, Miss Oyo - Mary Oladejo, Miss Ondo - Peace Olamide Ayegbidun, Miss Gombe - Stella Udeh, Miss Akwa Ibom - Sharon Edet, Miss Bauchi - De-Blessing Asaboro.
