Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) hosted the finale of the 2022 edition of the national competition on Friday, 21st October 2022 at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos where Ada Eme Miss Abia 2022 was crowned the new queen. As the new MBGN 2022, Ada Eme was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2022 as she became the official representative of Nigeria at Miss World 2022.

Ada Eme bested 36 other contestants to win the 34th MBGN crown. She succeeds MBGN 2021 Oluchi Madubuike. Ada advocates for empowering young women and children in her country through education. "I strongly believe that education gives us a fighting chance and a voice, and I believe this is the true essence of beauty and who I am as an individual”, she quotes.

Also at the finale, the representatives to Miss Universe 2022 and Miss Supranational 2023 were crowned. First runner-up Miss Edo 2022 Montana Onose Felix was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2022 while second runner-up Miss Anambra 2022 Genevieve Ukatu was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria 2022.

Along with these ladies, third runner-up Miss Abuja 2022 Ifeoma Uzogheli was crowned Miss Ecowas Nigeria2022 and fourth runner-up Miss Lagos 2022 Lydia Balogun was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria 2022.

Top 15 included Miss Kano - Mirabel Oghenekaro (Public Vote), Miss Lagos - Lydia Balogun (Public Vote), Miss Abuja - Ifeoma Uzogheli, Miss Abia - Ada Eme, Miss Edo - Montana Onose Felix, Miss Anambra - Genevieve Ukatu, Miss Zamfara - Oluwatoyin Ibitoye, Miss Kebbi - Lucille Love Oputa Otutu, Miss Osun - Olufunke Eyiowuawi, Miss Adamawa - Enenma Ibekwe, Miss Oyo - Mary Oladejo, Miss Ondo - Peace Olamide Ayegbidun, Miss Gombe - Stella Udeh, Miss Akwa Ibom - Sharon Edet, Miss Bauchi - De-Blessing Asaboro.
