The coronation ceremony of Mutia ti La Union 2020 was held yesterday, i.e. 2nd March 2020 at Poro Point Baywalk, San Fernando City, La Union where Divina Marie Villanueva of Sudipen was crowned the new queen. Twenty delegates competed for the title of La Union’s ambassadress for its agri-tourism program. Mutia ti La Union 2019 Anne Margareth Sanglay of Sudipen crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.
Divina Marie Villanueva is an aspiring lawyer who was raised by a single mother and believes that the support of family and putting God at the center of everything is just like a walk in the park; seamless. She worked hard to be at a position where she is now and she gives the credit for her success to her mother. The diva was one of the crowd’s favorite through the entire night and finally became the face of agri-tourism in this province. She also received the special awards such as Best in Agri-Tourism Campaign, Best in Socio-Economic Campaign and Mutia Best Fashion Model. Divina’s win is considered a special one because this marks Sudipen’s back-to-back win for the title.
