The reigning Miss Earth Australia 2014, Dayanna Grageda, has been dethroned and in her place one of the elemental winners of the pageant, Nadine Roberts, has been appointed new Miss Earth Australia 2014. She will now compete at Miss Earth 2014 pageant to be held in Manila, Philippines on November 29' 2014.
As per the announcement made on the official FaceBook page of Miss Earth Australia, which reads as follows:
“Miss Earth Australia announces that as Dayanna Grageda is not able to fulfill the duties of Miss Earth Australia 2014, Miss Nadine Roberts, one of our amazing elemental winners, has accepted the Miss Earth Australia crown for 2014 and will now be travelling to Manila to represent Australia in the Miss Earth International pageant. We wish Nadine all the best in Manila on Nov 29th.”
Earlier, at the finals of Miss Earth Australia 2014 held on September 14' 2014 at the Sydney Town Hall, Dayanna Grageda was crowned Miss Earth Australia 2014, while Nadine Roberts was crowned Miss Earth Australia Fire 2014.
