The World Miss University pageant is held annually since 1986, with an average of about 70 contestants joining the competition every year. The event is specifically designed to select World Miss University Peace Corp Representatives. The organizing committee dispatches peace missions to regions in conflict like Kosovo and Rwanda. Currently, the event is organized by World Miss University Organizing Committee which has headquarters in Manhattan, New York, USA.

This is Peru’s first victory in the competition. The very gorgeous newly crowned beauty queen, Kelin Kroll competed with various college students around the world, and defeated about 70 other strong competitors to win the coveted title. At present, Kelin Kroll Rivera is studying at USIL (Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola University) in Peru.

Kelin Rivera Kroll is not new to the world of pageantry. She was the first runner up during the Miss Peru 2013 pageant, and kept trying perseveringly to achieve her goal. We wish her heartiest congratulations for this success.
