2015 has been a relatively good year for Vietnam. After placing at two major international pageants like Miss International and Miss Earth, Vietnam through the very vibrant beauty, Thuy Van has shaped a history by entering the Top 5 of any chief pageant. Thuy Van has been the most flourishing Vietnamese contestant in 2015. After nerve wrecking training sessions, uphill struggle and dedication Thuy Van has definitely made her fellow countrymen swell with pride.
The fact that Thuy Van is the first and only Miss Vietnam to have entered Top 5 of any major pageant makes her an unbeatable star of the Vietnam galaxy. Thuy Van is a very devoted woman who takes up her tasks quite gravely as she works to conquer her aim. Since the day she was crowned as Miss International Vietnam, the diva left no stone unturned as she traversed on the trail of Miss International.
Besides relying on her language coach, Pham Hong Thuy Van undertook full catwalk experience by an expert rampwalk coach, understanding the technicalities of the international beauty pageant. Above and beyond working on her communication skills and rampwalk skills, Thuy Van strictly followed the guidelines of her coach on nutrition and fitness. She focused on her English fluency quite sternly in order to maximize her communication skills when she would finally hit to Tokyo for the pageant. The beauty also ardently followed specialized channels in foreign languages ??to become familiar with the approach of international work environment, thereby improving her body language and communication.
When Thuy Van reached Tokyo, Japan for Miss International pageant in November, she was incredibly amiable to her fellow contestants along with the staff and chaperons of the organization. Not only did her flawless communication skills made her shine, but also her grace to deal with people and expressing wise opinions on conflicting views impressed the staff of the organization. Miss International is deeply engrossed with a graceful persona who has ease in communicating grave issues with poise and confidence, hence Thuy Van grabbed the attention of judging panel very effectively.
Thuy Van was shortlisted as one of the finalists in the coronation night, and in the final round of speech, the very able diva added: “You have treated me and the girls so well for the last few weeks. You have shown me how beautiful a country and people can be. If crowned Miss International 2015, I would use my voice and influence to inspire the world, to help people believe in hope and dreams.”
Her genuine speech won million hearts across the globe and the judges adjudged the Vietnamese beauty as the third runner up to Miss International, eventually won by Edymar Martinez of Venezuela. After her win, the sanguine beauty was surrounded by paparazzi, wherein she expressed that the third runner-up title was her dream that came true after nearly one year, she and her associates worked hard in preparation for her competition at the pageant. Participating Miss International 2015 was a memorable experience to Van as she could prove herself and show her love to the home country.
The celebrated editor of Chuyen dong 24h (24 hours’ movement) TV program of Vietnam Television (VTV) and an English lecturer, Thuy Van gifted her nation with an esteem which was long awaited. An ardent learner who patiently follows every lessons and works accordingly to excel, Thuy Van has certainly raised the bars for the coming Miss Vietnam.
