Miss Universe Philippines – Kananga organization, through their official statement, announced Phoebe Arrianna Veloso Torita as the new Miss Universe Philippines - Kananga 2024 who will now represent Kananga at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

The decision was made after careful deliberation because of withdrawal of Natasha Jung who was previously representing Kananga at the national competition. The organization stated that despite the time constraints, they chose to reaffirm their commitments and decided to send a representative to Miss Universe Philippines 2024 to showcase and promote Kananga.

“We could have chosen an easier route-to stop, but we have decided to move forward with love and perseverance. Therefore, it is with immense pride, honor, and excitement that we announce Ms. Phoebe Arrianna Veloso Torita as the new Miss Universe Philippines - Kananga 2024”, the organization announced.

According to the organization, Torita is an ideal representative of Kananga as she is a full-blooded Kanangahon and embodies the qualities of a true Kanangahanon as a modern Filipina. Torita was previously adjudged as the first runner-up of the state pageant. A farm girl, Phoebe will definitely represent Kananga well.

Miss Universe Philippines, the fifth edition of Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 11th May 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Philippines where the winner will be crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and succeed Michelle Dee Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
