Pia Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe crown in 2015 for Philippines and her amazing pageant story will be portrayed in an episode by Liza Soberano in the long-running series Maalaala Mo Kaya. Pia has no complaints about Liza Soberano's portrayal of her for a "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode chronicling the hardships she went through before she won the 2015 Miss Universe pageant.

Pia is extremely excited to share her story as she was never open about it before. The beauty queen also applauded Soberano for wearing her original Miss Universe Sash for one of the parts of the episode. "Sobrang ganda mo, Liza! Pang Miss Universe talaga," Pia Wurtzbach gushed.
Wurtzbach is the country's first Miss Universe titleholder in more than four decades. Soberano managed to pull through everything only because of some advice she received from Wurtzbach which really helped in making her efforts to its best.
MMK is a Philippine drama anthology series broadcast on ABS-CBN every Saturday evenings. The program features weekly real life stories or anecdotes of common people or even famous celebrities and personalities through letter sending. It will be its 26th edition this year.
The episode will air tomorrow i.e. Saturday after "The Voice Teens."
