Miss Global 2016 Press Presentation

Miss Global 2016 is walking on its road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on 24th September 2016. This year is going to be the fourth edition of the pageant, and although the quantity of girls is far less than last year, in terms of quality the stakes are high. A total of 40 delegates are vying for the prestigious title of Miss Global 2016.

Recently, the Press Presentation of the pageant was held which was hosted by Angelee delos Reyes. During the Press Presentation, the contestants were introduced to the media in two categories, and all the girls looked uber hot as they walked the stage. After sashaying the ramp and setting the stage on fire with their ommmph, Miss Philippines Camille Hirro emerged as the winner of the title “Darling of the Press”, followed by Caitlynn Henry of Australia and Linnea Johansson of Sweden.

Camille stood out as one of the strongest contenders at the Miss Global 2016 pageant. The other delegates who marked their niche at the presentation were Angela Bonilla of Ecuador, Nikola Bechynova of the Czech Republic, Sonam Patel of India, Ester Haikola of Namibia, Daryna Ilvovska of Ukraine, Tima Keilah of Kenya, Britt Rekkedal of Norway.

The final coronation ceremony is slated to be held on September 24’ 2016 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines. Before the final coronation, a series of pre-pageant activities will be held in the weeks to come. The much awaited competitions are the Fashion Show and Evening Gown Competition to be held on 20th September 2016.

The coveted winner will serve as a representative of goodwill and will also help in promoting Philippine tourism. She will also help promote the Senhoa Foundation in supporting vulnerable persons and survivors of human trafficking.

At the end of the gala pageant, the reigning queen Jessica Peart of Australia will pass her reign and crown to her successor. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova will play the host to the finale along with actor Derrick Monasterio, and former Miss America Nina Davuluri and Senator Manny Pacquiao will be the judges for the gala night.
