Miss World organization has always adorned the world with the winners who are not just globally known but are highly esteemed for the individuality they possess and the talent they embody. One such outstanding Miss World is Priyanka Chopra, who was crowned as Miss World 2000 making a first ever back to back for India at the pageant. Priyanka Chopra is a critically acclaimed actress, and has recently been honored with the People’s Choice Award for her very popular show, Quantico. The beauty will soon appear in the next big-screen adaptation of the popular TV show, Baywatch.

The former Miss World, Priyanka is expected to be seen alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, in the much awaited movie adaptation of TV Series, Baywatch. A source close to the Baywatch production revealed that the idea was to sign an actress who could ace the red bikini. The source also added, “She had to look sexy, stylish and complex. Priyanka has been approached to play the leading lady who, incidentally, is also the baddie. There is a scheduling conflict since she is filming Quantico and the show has been renewed for the second season. But the makers are keen to sign the Indian beauty”.

The screenwriters posted the news about Priyanka’s involvement with the project through their joint Twitter account. This film will be Priyanka’s first Hollywood outing and second international project after her hit TV show “Quantico”.

Priyanka has done innumerable Bollywood movies in India, many of which have garnered National and Filmfare awards. The actress and the much loved beauty queen has also graced the covers of many renowned magazines along with appearing at numerous TV Commercials. Priyanka has formerly judged few editions of Miss World pageant too. Recently, Miss World 1994, Aishwarya Rai who is also from India was honored with the title of Most Successful Miss World in the grand finale of Miss World 2014, and after considering Priyanka’s success, it seems that Priyanka is next in the queue to get honored with the same title.
