Rachel succeeds Bb Pilipinas 2016 Maxine Medina, and will now represent the country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. She is talented, good-looking and has a great sense of humor. Rachel achieved this success with her hard work and the determination to win the crown.
With this, she was in the news because of her resemblance to Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler. According to the beauty, she was constantly being compared to the former Miss Universe, and the compliments only motivated her to move ahead and get inspired to win the title. “They’re all compliments! Gabriela Isler was a Miss Universe, and that’s what I was aiming for since Day 1. It motivated me... I actually watched a lot of her videos! Thank you, Gabriela Isler, for the motivation,” she said in a post-pageant interview.
