At the finals of the Miss Australasian pageant held tonight at North Sydney Leagues Club, NSW, Australia, Radmila Borkovic of Serbian/ Filipino origin has been crowned the winner. Radmila is 22 years of age and stands tall at 174 cm. She will now go on to represent Australia at the Miss United Nations beauty pageant.
The first runner-up was Vanessa Mary Tamer of Lebanese origin. She is 18 years of age and stands tall at 171 cm. The second runner-up was the beautiful Melanie Cristine Dizon Balagtas of Filipino origin. She is 23 years of age and stands tall at 165 cm. in 2014, Melanie was a contestant in Miss Philippines Earth 2014 pageant, where she was placed amongst Top 1o at the finals.
Miss Australasian is the first multicultural beauty pageant established and hosted in Australia, carrying the slogan of “Distinct Beauties United As One”.
