Maydeliana Diaz Parada from Venezuela Crowned Reinado Internacional del Café 2016

Maydeliana Diaz Parada from Venezuela was crowned as the new Reinado Internacional del Café 2016, also popularly known as International Queen of Coffee on the scintillating night of 9’ January 2016 in Manizales, Colombia. Maydeliana was crowned by the outgoing queen, Yuri Uchid from Japan after beating 26 beauties. Julia Horta from Brazil was titled as International Coffee Virreina 2016. Laura Prada from Colombia was adjudged as first princess, José María García from Spain was titled as second princess and  Jeslie Mergal from United States was declared the third princess.

The 45th edition of Reinado Internacional del Café pageant witnessed the battle of 26 contestants. The marvelous gala finale took place in Manizales, Colombia. Sebastian Yepes was the musical performer of the eve.

After rocking the runway in the swimsuit and evening gown competition, the list of finalists was trimmed down to the top five finalists, amongst which were Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Spain and United States.

In the midst of the pageant, the special prizes to the delegates were also allocated, amongst which, Best Legs subtitle went to Colombia, Best Hair to Venezuela, Best Coffee Taster to Puerto Rico and Queen of Police and Queen of the Carabineros 2016 titles went to Costa Rica.

As the show progressed towards the conclusion, the enthrallment to witness the new Reinado Internacional del Café was becoming even more nail biting. After the final Question and Answer segment the hosts announced the name of the new winner before the jovial audience and the world went crazy with joy after witnessing the newly crowned beauty queen. The coronation gala continued for four hours and was totally breathtaking. Congratulations to all the winners.
