12th January 2019 is the day when Reinado Internacional del Café 2019 will host its grand finale with 22 deletes from all the coffee producing nations around the world competing for this prestigious and one of the oldest international pageants.

The pageant which was first launched in 1957 as Reinado Continental del Café or the Continental Queen of Coffee was later changed to International Queen of Coffee, or Reinado Internacional del Café when other countries began to participate in the pageant.

With the finale just a few days away, the delegates have all arrived in the city of Manizales, Caldas in Colombia and are now indulging in fun activities that the organization has planned for them till the coronation night.

Yesterday marked the day when all the delegates were officially welcomed and in just a few hours they were taken to attend the traditional fair where they wore the traditional Colombian chapolera costume.

The beautiful delegates were then escorted to the Manizales Fair, who had a lot of fun representing their respective nations. Before that, they started their day with a aguapanela, agua de panela, or agüepanela, a traditional South American drink. The drink is prepared from Panela, which is produced with the juice of sugar cane.

This event was then followed by the twenty-two gorgeous candidates visiting the Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados, which is considered as one of the most important parks in the country. Seems like they have a complete blast in the midst of the tense environment of the pageant.
