Now that all the international pageants are over, the national pageants are gearing up to select the representatives for the international pageants of 2017. Similarly, Japan has kicked off with its search for the next Miss Grand Japan 2017. The Organisation has already started the search and application forms are available for the interest candidates on the Organisation’s official website.

The deadline for the entries is May 14th and from 21st May, the regional pageant will commence. By the mid of July, the semi finalists for the Miss Grand Japan pageant will be revealed. The announcement of the semi finalists will further lead to rehearsals and preparations for the finale, which is slated to be held on 11th September 2017. The winner of Miss Grand Japan 2017 will represent Japan at the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant which is slated to be held on 25th October 2017 in Vietnam.

At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Grand Japan 2017, Ayaka Sato will crown one of the finalists as her successor. Ayaka Sato represented Japan at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant, however was unplaced.

The theme for the Miss Grand Japan 2017 is the Spirit of Japan. So, we are assuming this year there will be more of Japanese culture, heritage and sight-seeing. Miss Grand Japan pageant aims at selecting delegate who can best represent Japan on international platform, and someone who possesses all the culture and heritage of the country.

Miss Grand International is an annual international beauty pageant held in Thailand since 2013 and is organized by Miss Grand International Organization based in Thailand.
