The search for Miss US Supranational 2016 has officially started. Recently, an event was organised  to shortlist the finalists of Miss U.S. Supranational 2016. Six girls have been selected to join the other set of official candidates who are yet to be announced.

Miss U.S. Supranational 2016, the third edition of Miss U.S. Supranational pageant is on its way. However, the pageant date and time is yet to be announced.

At the end of the finale, Miss U.S. Supranational 2015, Kelly Kirstein of Michigan will crown her successor as Miss U.S. Supranational 2016.

During the same event, the organizers will crown the next Miss U.S. International. The USA has been sending representatives to the Miss International pageant since its inception in 1960. The only year a representative was not sent was in 2006.

As per the sources, there are few more casting to go. But, six official candidates have been finalized as of now  to represent their region at the Miss U.S Supranational 2016 pageant. They are; Megan Owen, Jessica Joan Santiago, Kelsey Janser, Sarah Shoffner, Alexis Sherrill, and Tatiana Ruiz.

Miss U.S. Supranational is the official USA preliminary to Miss Supranational. The winner of Miss U.S Supranational will work for charitable causes as well as travel the country promoting tourism, goodwill and a healthy image amonf masses.

 A panel of judges evaluate the finalists during the live televised final on the basis of stage presence, runway skills and overall beauty.
