Sahithya Jagannathan rose to fame as she won Miss Chennai 2009 and represented India at World Miss University contest in Seoul, Korea in 2010 where she won Miss Speech award. Now, the model and actress, who is married to Cary Edwards, has been blessed with fraternal twins.

The couple became parents to twin babies, a boy and a girl, on 1st June 2021. Both the mother and the children are in good health. Sahithya Jagannathan took to her official social media to thank everyone for the wishes as she wrote, “"My baby boy, girl & I are all in good health. Thank you for your love, support and kindness(so many of you sent me food for my cravings through my pregnancy. So many mommas gave me such helpful tips and continue to do so.”

"Do bear with me if I take awhile to return phone calls, messages or DMs I’m a new mother to two adorable little munchkins & parenting feels like writing an exam where every question is out of syllabus”, she added.

On the professional front, Sahithya Jagannathan made her acting debut in Gautham Menon's bilingual film Neethane En Ponvasantham portraying a friend of Samantha. While she acted as one of the lead characters in Parthiban's 'Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam', she was last seen as a commentator in Vijay-starrer 'Bigi'.
