Director of the Sarajevo Winter Festival Ibrahim Spahic announced that the Directorate of the festival chose Esma voloder for Ambassador of 34th International Festival Sarajevo "Sarajevo Winter 2018", a.k.a Sarajevska Zima 2018.
Moto Sarajevo Winter The other face of the world is a unique way of witnessing the values of the heritage and the future of contemporary art.
The creative and educated, talented and wonderful Esma is like a Bosnian garden in which petals of roses make a fragrant necklace - Spahic said and emphasized that the upcoming Sarajevo Winter will be in the hallmark of top performances of artists, the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina tourism and the Winter idyll of the City and Olympic mountains.
Esma voloder accepted choice for Ambassador of Sarajevo Winter pointing out that she was honoured to represent the Sarajevo Winter and will participate in the opening ceremony of the Festival.
Esma said, “It is an honour to have attained the opportunity to become the International Ambassador for the Sarajevo Winter Festival 2018 The moto of the festival represents " a unique way of expressing the values of the heritage and the future of contemporary art"

So proud to be an International Ambassador and guest for this year’s Sarajevska Zima 2018 held in conjunction with the International Peace Centre (IPC). The opening ceremony was held last night. The festival’s core values circulate around promoting, preserving and nurturing cultural diversity based on the notion that culture is a prerequisite for the existence of basic humanistic values and fundamental human rights.
Being here to witness Sarajevo (a city that has been through a lot) host this innovative event to help build bridges among nations, cultures and individuals in hopes to promote love, peace and unity is a unique and special opportunity. The programme is full of amazing cultural activities, performances, debates and exhibits and the city is emitting a warm feeling in this cold winter as cultural diversity, inclusion, and regional cooperation is celebrated. It’s beautiful to see so many come to Sarajevo to enjoy, explore and contribute to the values of the festival. Congratulations to the director of the Festival, Mr Ibrahim Spahic, and to the whole team on the huge advocacy for the development of culture and art in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the promotion of cultural values.
