Pernambucco elected its Miss Pernambucco 2015 on July 9' 2015, held in the theatre IMIP in Recife. Sayonara Veras, came out triumphant with the crown in the 60th edition competition. She marked her victory after defeating 26 other candidates and will now be representing Pernambucco in Miss Brazil 2015. She represented the city of Olinda at the Miss Pernambucco 2015. She was optimistic from the outset.
"When you enter a competition it is necessary to give the most and think about winning, it does not help believing take another position, because in a way that attracts and can let the jury be aware of their lack of security," said the miss.
Sayonara also took the title of Best Costume 2015 by wearing the “Maracatu Baque Face of a Lady”, one of the main traditions of their land, made by Bethania Borges. According to Sayonara, jury members were attentive to posture, way of speaking and behaviour of candidates throughout the process of contest. "The tender evaluation begins long before the day when the miss will be crowned.They also judged on how the candidates treated people on the streets. We were being watched. All this because a miss will represent the people and must know how to deal with them, regardless of the competition", she said.Owner of curvilinear body form and a charming smile, Sayonara Veras draws attention in the streets wherever she goes.
