Miss Grand Thailand 2017 is on its road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on 8th July 2017 and the winner will represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant to be held in Vietnam at the end of this year. 77 finalists are competing for the title this year. The 77 finalists each won the Miss Grand Thailand 2017 in their native province.
Before the gala finale kicks in, the candidates will be competing through various other segments of Preliminary Competitions which will help mark their place in the finale. The first major event lined up for the girls is the National Costume Competition. The National Costume Parade is scheduled to be held on 5th July 2017. The contestants will showcase their tradition and culture in their National Costumes.
Next event lined up for the contestants is the Preliminary Show, wherein the girls will compete in the Swimsuit and the Evening Gown competition. The winners in both the segment will be announced based on their performance.
The 77 contestants were presented to the media during an official Press Conference. The conference was held at Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of Miss Grand International Organisation, spoke about the success of Miss Grand Thailand at the press conference ad also announced a new special prize, Best Voice.
