Señorita Panamá aka Miss Panama is the national beauty pageant of Panama which commenced in 1952. The pageant is of utmost significance in the country as it crowns the winners as the official representatives of Panama in the big four major international pageants - Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth.

So far, Panama has won only two major pageant which are Miss International 1998 under the delegation of Lía Victoria Borrero González and Miss Universe 2002. Justine Pasek who won the title of first-runner up in Miss Universe 2002 competition won the Miss Universe title when she replaced the dethroned winner Oxana Fedorova of Russia. The country is yet to secure the title of Miss World and Miss Earth.
