Sinulog Festival Queen 2021 was held last night virtually as gatherings were suspended owing to the ongoing pandemic where Dixie Lee Ray Oca of Barangay Sapangdako of Cebu City was crowned the new queen.
Dixie Lee Oca, at 16, proved that she is a rising star in the pageantry. After her win, Oca took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Thank you to our Almighty Father and to our Senior Sto. Niño for this opportunity alone. To every single person behind me, mami Malayka Yamas for my makeup, for an extravagant festival costume, and of course for everything! To coach Lyric Roma for your full support and for pushing me through this. To sir Larry for your assistance, to ate Rona Sandoval for my hair, sir Jim for the Sto. Niño,to sir Tom Guylle and sir Shacquil Olaivar for the choreography, to the people behind the costumes, and production staff who experienced some backstage muddles.”
“To the Sinulog foundation for making this event possible. To my ates, kuyas, titas, relatives, teachers, USC fam, VEE Fam, friends and family for your undying support; and to my mom, as always. Sinulog Festival Queen 2021 Dixie Lee Oca’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Maria Angelica Pantaliano
2nd Runner-up – Krisha Andrea Pekitpekit
Ralph Mallapre, Sinulog Idol All Stars 2nd Runner-up, gave an astounding performance at the finale. Jackelaine Fleming was awarded Miss Friendship award for being an epitome of good camaraderie. Most Glamorous Face Award went to Jewel Alexis Image.
Among others, Krisha Andres Pekitpekit of Brgy. Punta Princessa won Miss Photogenic award for being the one out of 10 candidates to perfectly capture the attention of the official photographer Mr. Chang Euldan.

Krisha Andres Pekitpekit won the Best in Opening Production or Best in Funwear award while Maria Angelica Pantaliano won Best in Festival Costume in her glamorous yellow gold costume. Our new queen Dixie Oca won Best in Runway with her most captivating walk. She also won Best solo performer with her graceful and enchanting performance.
