The magnificent finale of Reina Hispanoamericana 2015, held on October 24’ 2015 at the Hall of Fexpo Guarayo in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, concluded with the crowning of Sofia del Prado from Spain. Sofia managed to defeat 23 other contestants to clinch the title of Reina Hispanoamericana 2015. She succeeds Romina Rocamonje from Bolivia, who was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2014.
20 years old Sofia, is a student who is in her third year and is studying International Relations. She is fluent in English, French and German. At the same event, Laura Garcete from Paraguay was crowned Virreina Hispano (Vice Queen).
The finale of Reina Hispanoamericna started with the introduction of contestants in their respective national attires. The contestants introduced themselves to the audience, exhibiting their nationality. Further, the contestants paraded in their respective swimsuits during the swimsuit competition. The evening gown concluded the finale leading to the announcement of the winner.
Sofia is not new to the world of beauty pageants, in fact, she has had her share of experience and understanding of the pageants. She has previously competed at many pageants nationally as well as regionally, and was also the second runner-up at the Miss Universe Spain pageant. Sofia has a beautiful smile with an astounding height to complement, and she was one of the favourites for the title of Reina Hispanoamericana.
At the finale of Reina Hispanoamericana 2015, Digene Zimmerman from Aruba was titled as the first runner-up, Karielys Cuadros from Venezuela was adjudged as the second runner-up, Yoana Yon from Argentina was titled as the third runner-up and Neyda Lithgow from Curacao stood as the fourth runner-up. Dominican Republic, Panama and Mexico completed the Top 9 Semi-finalist, out of a total of 24 competitors.
