Miss Mondo Italia 2017 (also known as Miss World Italy 2017) is on its verge of conclusion, and on 11th June 2017, one of the finalists will be crowned as the next Miss World Italy. The winner will represent Italy at the Miss World 2017 pageant to be held later this year. 50 gorgeous contestants have been selected from different parts of Italy after a well organised series of auditions.

Recently, the finalists participated in a Sports Challenge organised by the Miss World Italy Organisation. The girls were divided into 5 teams (comprising of 10 contestants each) – Team White, Team Yellow, Team Red, Team Black and Team Green. The sports challenge was more of a fun event for the contestants, as they got a chance to participate in various activities, including relay race, and other fun challenges. Competing through the various challenges, the red team managed to win the Sports Challenge. Miss Mondo Sports title will be given to one of the finalists from team red, at the finals.

Miss Mondo Italia (also known as Miss World Italy) is an annual national beauty pageant in Italy that selects a representative for the Miss World pageant. The pageant was first organized in the year 1954 but gained appreciation in the year 2000, when the winner landed as the first runner-up at the Miss World pageant. In 2000  Miss Mondo Italia 2000 winner Giorgia Palmas was the 1st Runner-up at Miss World 2000 and was titled Queen of Europe in 2000.

The finale will be televised live on the official Facebook page of Miss World Italy.
